"Only An Impulse" is now out and available on CD through us or Drugged Conscience Records. You can also listen to the whole album on Bandcamp for FREE or purchase a digital copy there. I've also finally gotten the album up on Spotify for all of you freaks that like to use that thing, although don't listen to their BS about how the artists are getting paid. That's definitely a lie.
Some rough plans are in the works for a trip to Toronto in the near future, and I plan to make / finish making a music video sometime soon for one of the songs off Only An Impulse. Sarah and I began shooting for a couple of them many months ago and I think it's about time to do something with it. For now, live off this and stay tuned. Thanks!

Come see us on May 5th for the inaugural night of Version Fest 12 at the Orphanage for the ACT OF GOD art show. Show starts at 7, and we play at 8. So get there early!

The new record is complete! 5 brand new songs along with the 5 Deer Head Pre-released songs rerecorded at the beautiful Bricktop Studios in Chicago. Carl Saff is slated to do the mastering, having a diverse client list, including related thrashers Harm's Way.
Look for a promotional video to be released very soon with details about the when and how exactly this record is coming out. Stay warm.

We have started recording for our new full-length at Bricktop Studios in Chicago! Check out some pictures of us in the studio. Drums and bass are all done, and we're now working on guitar. 10 songs is going to take us about 10 weeks I think, but I'm excited for the results.
We are also playing a Chicago show at The Empty Bottle next Wednesday 8.17 with House Sounds at 9:30. It's FREE if you send an email to [email protected] with Maribelle in the subject. Check out the facebook event, or view the flyer!

Happy Valentines Day! I actually really don't like this holiday, but I just happened to be posting today, so...more importantly, we have two shows coming up in Chicago. On the 16th at Summercamp, and the 18th at Treasure Town.
We are also in the process of booking a 4 day weekend the last week of March, heading south with our friends SPELLS. We'll be going to Nashville and Memphis with a show on the way there and back. Hope to see you then!

Maribelle has officially begun playing out in the new format, with new members and new songs. We played our first "electric" show in Chicago a couple of months ago, and are on the path to recording in the near future.
O'er the Waves has also recently released our first recording and posted the entire record on Bandcamp. It's 8 songs available digitally or on CD entitled "Underneath the Window". Sarah and I are both really proud of this, so make sure to check it out!

We have made our first ever music video for the song "Please" from our LP "With Teeth Sharp As Old Friends"! Watch it now on Vimeo or YouTube! The video for "Please" was filmed at the Grand Canyon while on tour during the summer of 2010 and edited by Aaron upon returning home. Hope you enjoy it!
As I work on new Maribelle songs, Sarah and I will be playing our first show with a new side project, currently titled O'er the Waves, on Sept. 26th at Cafe Mustache in Chicago. This band will feature myself on drums, and her as the primary vocalist and piano player. I'm pumped!

Maribelle is an emo-punk band from Chicago. Formed in 2006, members include E. Aaron Ross, Chris Mills, Patrick Lawlor, and Sarah Ross. 'With Teeth Sharp As Old Friends' was self-released in February of 2010, and is the first LP by the band. Maribelle contains current and previous members of Harm's Way, O'er the Waves, Weekend Nachos, Spells, and more. "Only an Impulse" is the second full-length from the band, and available now through Drugged Conscience Records.
